Flume Deductible Coverage Terms

Flume Deductible Coverage Program

Flume is committed to helping homeowners reduce the risk and cost of water damage. If you install and properly use a Flume Smart Water Sensor provided through your insurance carrier’s loss prevention program, and still experience property damage as a direct result of a water supply line leak, Flume will reimburse you for the amount of your homeowner’s insurance deductible, up to a maximum of $1,000, subject to the terms and conditions below (the “Program”).

Eligibility Requirements

You will qualify for reimbursement under the Flume Deductible Coverage Program if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

    • You installed your Flume device within 10 calendar days of delivery.
    • The coverage period begins on the date of installation and continues for 12 months thereafter.
    • Coverage applies only to the property address associated with your insurance policy and program enrollment.

      • The covered property was used for residential purposes only.
      • You reported the property damage to your insurance carrier within a reasonable period of time.
    • After the property damage:
      • You provided Flume with a copy of your insurance company’s written claim report.
      • You provided documentation (e.g., statement of loss or correspondence) showing:
        • The insurance company paid a portion of the claim, and
        • A deductible amount was applied and not waived.
      • You granted Flume written permission to verify this information directly with your insurance company.
  5. Coverage Limitations
    • Flume will reimburse only up to the actual deductible amount applied, and no more than $1,000 per property damage loss.
    • Only one reimbursement may be issued per device during any 12-month coverage period.
